The deep blue waters rise

As I become overwhelmed

by the simplistic beauty of

an eerie blue-green light.

Only the dolphins and whales

can exceed the light and beauty

of the seas.

Colorful fish play in the coral playgrounds

that they call home.

The people of Atlantis held a precious gift

when they saw their surroundings

Day in and day out.

The peacefulness that they must have shared.

Were we not meant to exist in complete harmony

with the sea and her inhabitants?

I believe that we were, yet many could

care less.

To be at one with the seas...
