To See and Love You

3-11-91

4-1-91(vs.3)

To see your face

was sheer ecstasy.

To feel your touch

was unrestrained joy.

To have your kiss

was all I've ever needed.

When no one else cared,

you were there.

When everyone else laughed at me,

you held me close.

When I needed to cry,

you offered me your shoulder.

You love me for me,

You love me for my thoughts,

You love me for my presence,

I love you for everything you've brought out in me.
